About the Presentation

Accreditation is a new development in the evolving professional landscape of Investigative Genetic Genealogy. In this session, Rachel Duke, Forensics Program Manager at A2LA, will introduce A2LA’s new IGG Accreditation Program, the first program of its kind focused on organizations conducting IGG activities.

Rachel Duke will explain what organizational accreditation is designed to evaluate, how the accreditation process works, and what participating organizations can expect. The presentation will also provide context for how the program fits within the broader forensic accreditation landscape, helping IGG professionals understand this new option and its place within the developing field.
